How To Submit Your Blog to Google News
Personally I am very annoyed when I see a wacky blog is seen at the top of page on Google results within Google News section. Nowadays you can see many blogs spamming titles with the keywords from Google Trends and they can be seen at the top of first page results and get enormous traffic by this way. So how these so called “news blogs” are added to Google News. Here the tip :
- Create three pages for : Privacy Policy, Contact and The Team or The Editors.
- Add 5+ writer profile to your The Editors page.
- Install a magazine / news template to your blog.
- Click Google News submission link and fill the blanks carefully.
All these are enough, it is important that if you install WordPress platform for blogging, you had better use post IDs in your permalinks. Because Google News pays attention to post IDs and you can see post IDs almost all news web sites’ URLs. But I do not advise you bloggers to change permalinks unless you start a new blog under new domain. Otherwise, changing permalinks will mess up your SEO.
